I'm a native of Detroit, MI who loves to travel, sing around the house and spend quality time with amazing people. I also love french fries, good science-fiction movies and helping people find their unique creative spark. |

I graduated from Wayne State University with a B.S. in Art Education and Central Michigan University with a M.A. in Humanities. I have been teaching art for over 23 years. Throughout my teaching career, I noticed a lack of art education resources directly connected to Black visual artists. So, I created this website to help fill that void.
