Great Art Lessons for the Creative Soul
In high school, many students take art as an elective and do not realize the significance and necessity of art in the "real world". In the past I have been asked by art students, "How can I use what I learn in art to make money or get a job?" We did this video two years ago to briefly explain how one can use the skill of drawing to establish a successful art career in the real world.

"How can I use what I learn in art to make money or get a job?" In regards to this common and reoccuring question, I am also asked this question. I recall my Mom asking me, "Son, why don't you take up Art as your major? You will do great at it," she said. "Mom, I won't make any money in Art," I replied. Not everyone will become an "artist" in the sense of Lawrence, C.White, Picasso, or Ringgold. However, I do believe, that with the lessons thru the Elements and Principles of Art are taught correctly, and applied to everyday life, an individual can not only learn about themselves, surrounds, but also create their own future to go into whatever career path they chose. I think Understanding Self through Art is the key.
